NSB Cyber partners with Ransom-ISAC
NSB Cyber has joined Ransom-ISAC as its incident response partner for Australia and New Zealand.
Ransom-ISAC is a ransomware-focused information sharing and analysis centre. It runs an incident hotline that routes victims to a vetted DFIR firm in their region, and shares threat intelligence with its members at no cost. Partners include CIRCL, the national CSIRT of Luxembourg, No More Ransom, and response firms across Europe and North America.
NSB Cyber’s Head of Cyber Intel & Response Evan Vougdis explains why stronger collaboration between defenders matters: "Ransomware crews share tooling, infrastructure and playbooks with each other constantly. Defenders are still slower at it than the people we are up against. Ransom-ISAC is a serious attempt to close that gap, and we would rather be part of building it than watch from the sidelines."
